Sylmar Group, a leader in industrial water and wastewater treatment, announced the acquisition of Tower Water, a premier provider of water treatment services in New York City. Tower Water will join the Sylmar Water Treatment family of companies, alongside EAI Water, Clearwater Industries, R2J Chemical Services, Eastern Technologies, Butler Chemical and ProChem Water, as Sylmar continues to build its nationwide network of local, technical and customer-focused water treatment providers.
Founded in 1992 by Russell and Noah Baskin, Tower Water has grown from a two-person cooling tower cleaning company into one of the most respected water treatment organizations in the country, with more than 50 employees. It has a reputation for technical excellence and deep regulatory expertise in water treatment, legionella management and mitigation and the flushing and commissioning of new and refurbished piping systems. The company serves commercial real estate portfolios, residential high-rises, healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical sites, data centers, educational institutions and industrial properties throughout New York City, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and southern Connecticut.
